Frequently asked questions

The Diamond:

What is a lab grown diamond tennis bracelet?

What is a lab grown diamond tennis bracelet?

A lab grown diamond tennis bracelet is a flexible bracelet set with a continuous line of individually set, evenly matched lab grown diamonds running the full length of the wrist.

Each stone sits in its own setting, and each setting is linked to the next, so the bracelet moves and drapes naturally rather than sitting stiff.

Bellari's lab grown diamond tennis bracelets are crafted in 18K solid gold, in yellow or white gold, and set with round brilliant lab grown diamonds graded D to E colour and VVS2 to VS1 clarity in a four prong tennis setting. There are two weights.

The Classic 2 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet uses 2mm stones for a fine, close line. The Signature 5 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet uses 3mm stones for a fuller line with more presence on the wrist.

Both are finished with a butterfly clasp and double safety latch, and offered in 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 and 7.5 inch lengths.

How do I clean a diamond tennis bracelet at home?

How do I clean a diamond tennis bracelet at home?

Clean the bracelet every few weeks, or whenever it looks less bright. Fill a small bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap.

Soak the bracelet for 10 to 15 minutes to loosen oils and residue. Use a soft toothbrush to gently brush each diamond, paying attention to the underside of the stones and the prongs, where build up collects.

Rinse under warm running water with the drain closed or a strainer in place.

Dry with a soft, lint free cloth and let it air dry fully before storing.

Avoid bleach, chlorine, acetone, abrasive powders and toothpaste, which can affect gold alloys and finishes.

Avoid at home ultrasonic and steam cleaners, as strong vibration can loosen the small prong settings in a tennis bracelet.

Store the bracelet flat and closed in the Bellari pouch, separate from other pieces.

For a deeper clean, or to have the prongs and clasp checked, any reputable jeweller can professionally clean and inspect the bracelet.

What is the difference between the 2 Carat and the 5 Carat lab grown diamond tennis bracelets?

What is the difference between the 2 Carat and the 5 Carat lab grown diamond tennis bracelets?

Both bracelets share the same 18K solid gold, the same D to E colour and VVS2 to VS1 clarity lab grown diamonds, the same four prong tennis setting and the same butterfly clasp with double safety latch.

The difference is stone size, total carat weight and presence on the wrist. Classic 2 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet: set with 2mm round brilliant lab grown diamonds, approximately 2.0 carats total weight in the 6.0 and 6.5 inch lengths and approximately 2.3 carats in the 7.0 and 7.5 inch lengths. A fine, closely set line that sits low on the wrist

The Signature 5 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet: set with 3mm round brilliant lab grown diamonds, approximately 5.0 to 5.5 carats total weight depending on length. A fuller, more defined line with a clear presence.

What is the difference between a lab grown diamond tennis bracelet and a mined diamond tennis bracelet?

What is the difference between a lab grown diamond tennis bracelet and a mined diamond tennis bracelet?

The difference is origin, not quality, composition or appearance. What is the same: both are pure carbon diamond, both rate 10 on the Mohs scale, both have identical optical properties, both are graded on cut, colour, clarity and carat, and both are permanent.

Neither will scratch easily, cloud or change colour over time. What is different: mined diamonds formed underground over billions of years, while lab grown diamonds are created in weeks or months in a laboratory. Lab grown diamonds require no mining or land disruption, and they carry a clear, documented origin with no conflict associations.

In a tennis bracelet specifically, consistency matters more than in a single stone piece, because dozens of diamonds sit side by side and any difference in colour shows.

Lab grown diamonds allow every stone in the line to be closely matched in colour and clarity.

Set side by side, a lab grown diamond tennis bracelet and a mined diamond tennis bracelet of the same grade are visually indistinguishable.

What is the difference between a lab grown diamond and a moissanite tennis bracelet?

What is the difference between a lab grown diamond and a moissanite tennis bracelet?

Lab grown diamond and moissanite are two different stones, each with its own character.

The choice comes down to how you want the bracelet to look. Lab grown diamond: pure carbon, 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, refractive index 2.42 and dispersion 0.044.

Diamond returns a crisp, clean white brilliance with measured flashes of colour. It carries the familiar optical identity of diamond.

Bellari's lab grown diamond tennis bracelets are set in 18K solid gold, yellow or white.

Moissanite: silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, refractive index 2.65 and dispersion 0.104. Moissanite has a higher refractive index and more than twice the dispersion of diamond, so it shows more fire, with stronger rainbow flashes, particularly in sunlight. Bellari's moissanite tennis bracelet is set in rhodium plated sterling silver.

Both are durable enough for daily wear and both are permanent stones.

If you are drawn to classic white diamond brilliance in solid gold, choose lab grown diamond. If you are drawn to more fire and colour in the light, choose moissanite.

Certification and Warranty:

What is the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty?

What is the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty?

Every lab-grown diamond in a Bellari tennis bracelet is covered by two warranties.

Stone Lifetime Warranty:
Every lab-grown diamond stone is covered for life. This warranty confirms the stone's identity and optical character will not change, colour, clarity, and brilliance will not fade or cloud over time. The Stone Lifetime Warranty has no time limit and applies for as long as you own the piece.

The Stone Lifetime Warranty does not cover chips, breaks, bending, loss, or theft.

Manufacturing and Precious Materials: One Year Warranty:
From the date of purchase, Bellari offers a one-year warranty covering manufacturing and material defects present at the time of delivery. This includes structural faults in craftsmanship, faults in settings, clasps or closures, and defects in the precious metal itself. It does not cover surface wear from normal daily use.

What is not covered by either warranty:
Accidental damage or impact, improper use or handling, modifications or repairs by third parties, general wear and tear, tarnishing or surface wear from exposure, damage caused by chemicals or harsh environments, and lost or stolen items.

What is IGI certification and which Bellari products include it?

What is IGI certification and which Bellari products include it?

IGI (International Gemological Institute) is one of the world's largest independent diamond grading laboratories, founded in Antwerp in 1975. IGI pioneered the grading of lab-grown diamonds in 2005.

An IGI certificate independently documents a diamond's cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight, graded by a laboratory with no commercial stake in the sale. Each certificate includes a unique report number laser-inscribed on the diamond's girdle, verifiable at igi.org.

Bellari offers IGI certification on some diaond jewellery and individual diamonds of 0.5ct per stone or above. The Lab-Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklaces available in round, oval, pear, and emerald cut each include an IGI certificate with the piece.

For the diamond tennis bracelet collection, every bracelet is covered by the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty on every stone, with the quality specification clearly documented.

Do the diamonds in the tennis bracelet come with an IGI certificate?

What certification do Bellari's lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets come with?

Every Bellari lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet is covered by the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty, which covers every individual stone in the bracelet.

On certification: for individual stones of 0.5ct or above per stone, Bellari offers IGI (International Gemological Institute) certification. The diamonds in the tennis bracelet are smaller individual stones set in a continuous line, standard industry practice is to certify the bracelet's overall quality specification rather than issue individual stone certificates at this size.

The quality specification of the diamonds in Bellari's tennis bracelets are D-E colour, VVS-VS clarity, round brilliant cut is clearly documented and backed by the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty.

If you are looking for individual IGI-certified stones in Bellari's diamond collection, the Lab-Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklaces feature individual stones from 0.5ct per stone, each with an IGI certificate included.

The Design:

How does the length affect the carat weight?

How does the length affect the carat weight?

The total carat weight of the bracelet increases with the length because longer bracelets contain more diamonds.

Classic 2 Carat:

  • 6.0" and 6.5" lengths: approximately 2.0ct total
  • 7.0" and 7.5" lengths: approximately 2.3ct total

Signature 5 Carat:

  • 6.0" and 6.5" lengths: approximately 5.0ct total
  • 7.0" and 7.5" lengths: approximately 5.5ct total

This is consistent across all diamond tennis bracelets, the more diamonds required to complete the length, the higher the total stone weight. The individual stone size and quality remain the same across all lengths.

Should I choose a yellow gold or white gold diamond tennis bracelet?

Should I choose a yellow gold or white gold diamond tennis bracelet?

Both are 18K solid gold. The choice is purely aesthetic.

Yellow gold: The alloy creates the warm, classic gold tone the metal is recognised for. Yellow gold is the more traditional setting for a diamond tennis bracelet, the warmth of the metal creates a contrast against the colourless stones. It pairs naturally with yellow gold rings, earrings, and other warm-toned jewellery.

White gold: In its natural state, white gold carries a slightly warm or off-white tone, a reflection of gold's inherent colour in the alloy. Rhodium plating is applied over the surface to correct this, giving the metal its characteristic bright, cool white finish. The result is a clean, consistent colour that allows the diamonds to sit against a matching white-silver metal, creating a unified aesthetic where the stones appear to float without a strong colour contrast from the setting. Pairs closely with white gold rings, platinum pieces, and silver-toned jewellery.

If uncertain, consider which metal you wear most consistently in existing jewellery.

Why does Bellari use 18K gold for the diamond tennis bracelet?

Why does Bellari use 18K gold for the diamond tennis bracelet?

At 18K, the gold content is high enough to deliver a rich, genuine colour, a deeper yellow in yellow gold, a cleaner white in white gold while retaining the structural properties needed for a well-made setting.

For a diamond tennis bracelet, the setting exists to showcase the stones and hold them securely over decades of wear. 18K is the specification used by the fine jewellery industry for pieces at this level, and it is what Bellari uses for the diamond collection.

Why 18K gold for a diamond tennis bracelet rather than 14K or 9K?

Why 18K gold for a diamond tennis bracelet rather than 14K or 9K?

18K gold contains 75% pure gold.

14K contains 58.3%.

9K contains 37.5%.

For a fine diamond tennis bracelet 18K is the preferred standard for three reasons.

First, colour: higher gold content gives a deeper, richer tone in yellow gold and a cleaner base for white gold.

Second, skin comfort: higher gold purity means less base metal alloy against the skin, making 18K less likely to cause reactions for those sensitive to base metals.

A bracelet sits against the skin all day, so this matters. Third, standard: 18K is the international benchmark for fine jewellery and the metal used by established jewellers for significant pieces.

Every Bellari lab grown diamond tennis bracelet is crafted in 18K solid gold. Not plated, not filled, not vermeil. Solid gold throughout.

What is the difference between the 2 carat and 5 carat tennis bracelet?

What is the difference between the 2 carat and 5 carat tennis bracelet?

The difference is in total stone weight, which affects the overall presence and visual weight of the piece on the wrist.

Classic 2 Carat:
2.0ct to 2.3ct total carat weight depending on bracelet length. A refined, continuous line of diamonds, balanced in scale, appropriate for daily wear and formal occasions equally. The 2mm profile sits cleanly on the wrist without being emphatic. This is the understated choice: present, considered, worn without announcement.

Signature 5 Carat:
5.0ct to 5.5ct total carat weight depending on bracelet length. A more prominent profile, the 3mm stone size creates clear presence across the wrist. More light return, more noticeable sparkle from a distance. This is the statement choice: worn when the piece is intended to be seen.

Both use the same D-E colour and VVS-VS clarity diamonds in a four-prong setting. Both are crafted in 18K solid gold. The choice is one of scale and intention.

Sizing and Fit:

Should I choose a 2 carat or 5 carat diamond tennis bracelet?

Should I choose a 2 carat or 5 carat diamond tennis bracelet?

Neither is objectively better. The choice comes down to scale, how you plan to wear it, and the proportion of your wrist.

2 carat (2mm stones): a fine, refined line. Noticeable brilliance with understated scale. Sits comfortably beside a watch or other bracelets and suits stacking. Reads proportionate on smaller wrists, particularly those under 15cm. The most common choice for a first diamond tennis bracelet and for consistent everyday wear.

5 carat (3mm stones): a fuller line with clear presence. Each diamond is visibly larger, so the bracelet reads as a single defined piece from across a room. Best worn on its own or with one watch. Suits those who want a statement bracelet that still holds clean, considered proportions, and is often chosen to mark a milestone.

A simple guide: if you prefer minimal pieces and wear several things on the wrist, choose the Classic 2 Carat. If you want the bracelet to stand on its own, choose the Signature 5 Carat.

What size diamond tennis bracelet should I get?

What size diamond tennis bracelet should I get?

A tennis bracelet should sit comfortably on the wrist with a small amount of movement, not so loose that it slides down toward the hand, and not so snug that it sits tightly against the skin.

A general guide: measure your wrist and add approximately 1 to 1.5cm. This gives a comfortable drape with room for natural movement.

Bellari's bracelet is available in 6.0", 6.5", 7.0", and 7.5" lengths.

  • 6.0" (~15.2cm) suits wrists approximately 14.5 to 15cm
  • 6.5" (~16.5cm) suits wrists approximately 15 to 15.5cm
  • 7.0" (~17.8cm) suits wrists approximately 15.5 to 17cm
  • 7.5" (~19cm) suits wrists approximately 17 to 18cm

For the most accurate measurement, measure your wrist with a soft tape measure just below the wrist bone. If between sizes, the larger length provides more comfort for daily wear. Size Guide

Can a diamond tennis bracelet be resized?

Can a diamond tennis bracelet be resized?

Bellari lab grown diamond tennis bracelets are crafted to the exact length selected at checkout and cannot be resized after purchase.

A tennis bracelet is built as a continuous line of individually set, linked diamonds, and its proportions, stone count and total carat weight are determined by that length.

Adding or removing links after the piece is finished alters the construction and the balance of the line. This is why choosing the right length before ordering matters.

Measure your wrist in centimetres, add 1 to 1.5cm for comfortable movement, and match the result to the 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 or 7.5 inch lengths.

If you are between sizes, choose the longer length. If you are buying as a gift and cannot measure the wrist, measure the inside length of a bracelet she already wears comfortably.

The Tennis Bracelet Size Guide is at Size Guide, and hello@bellari.com.au is available to confirm sizing before placing the order.

How secure is the clasp on a diamond tennis bracelet?

How secure is the clasp on a diamond tennis bracelet?

Both Bellari lab grown diamond tennis bracelets close with a butterfly clasp and a double safety latch.

The clasp is the most important structural point on any tennis bracelet, because the entire line of diamonds depends on it staying closed.

The butterfly clasp locks the two ends of the bracelet together. The double safety latch adds two independent locks over the clasp, so if one were to open accidentally, the second keeps the bracelet secured on the wrist.

Each diamond is held in a four prong setting, gripping the stone at four points while allowing light to enter from the sides and return through the top of the diamond.

To keep the clasp secure over time, close both safety latches every time the bracelet is worn, avoid pulling the bracelet over the hand, and check periodically that the latches still close firmly.

Occasions and Gifting:

Is a lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet a good gift?

Is a lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet a good gift?

A diamond tennis bracelet is among the most significant jewellery gifts, a piece designed to be worn for decades rather than reserved for particular occasions.

The continuous line of diamonds creates immediate presence. The 18K solid gold setting ensures the piece holds its quality over time. And the Bellari Lifetime Diamond Warranty, which covers every stone, gives the recipient lasting assurance in the piece.

Both the Classic 2 Carat and Signature 5 Carat arrive in Bellari's signature velvet box with ribbon ready to present.

For major occasions, milestone anniversaries, significant birthdays, engagements, a diamond tennis bracelet carries appropriate weight as a gift. If you are uncertain about the recipient's wrist size or preferred metal, the Bellari Gift Card is available.

Can a lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet be worn every day?

Can a lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet be worn every day?

Yes. The bracelet is designed for consistent wear.

Lab-grown diamonds rate 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, the hardest known material. The stones will not scratch, chip, or lose brilliance from daily wear. The 18K solid gold setting holds each stone securely in a four-prong basket designed for longevity.

The butterfly clasp with double safety latch ensures the bracelet stays secured during normal daily activity.

General care: remove before swimming, showering, or contact with harsh chemicals. Clean periodically with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. More care detail at The Sparkle Guide.

What is the difference between gifting the 2 carat and 5 carat?

What is the difference between gifting the 2 carat and 5 carat?

Both are significant gifts. The choice is one of intended presence.

The Classic 2 Carat is a refined, daily-wear piece, a bracelet that integrates into the everyday rather than announcing itself as a special-occasion piece. For a recipient who tends toward understated elegance, or who will wear the bracelet consistently across all contexts, the 2 carat is the considered choice.

The Signature 5 Carat is a more prominent statement. The 3mm stone profile creates clear, noticeable presence at the wrist, a piece that is seen from across a room. For milestone occasions where the gift is intended to reflect the significance of the event, the 5 carat carries that weight.
